Yes, the faux gym rat. The lady or gentlemen that loves working out but hates being in the stinky ass gym (aka me)! Staying motivated to hit the gym is very hard with me, unless I have a gym rat roommate with a guest pass. I prefer working out outside with fresh air over a hot and sweaty, packed and stinky gym. Instagram has been the golden tool for finding short workout routines that will kick your ass. I usually save the videos on my phone in different categories (core, abs, lower body, cardio) so I can have easy access to them when I get that blast of energy to workout.
My motivation to workout comes and goes and currently this motivation is high, and that is why I am writing this post. YOU DO NOT NEED TO GO TO THE GYM TO GET A GOOD WORK OUT. All you need is some ground to stand on. I follow a couple amazing fitness trainers on Instagram (@GetFitWithNic_ and @BrittneBabeFitness) who do at home/outdoor workouts. No large machines, no heavy weights. A yoga mat, jump rope, medicine ball, and a couple resistance bands will do.
The weather is starting to get a bit cooler and that excuse of "it's too cold to go to the gym" is coming upon us. So I made a compilation of Instagram videos for you all to enjoy!

I am not a fitness trainer so I can't tell you what amounts, breaks, rest or any detailed things like that. Do what you can depending on your fitness level, and if an exercise becomes easy for you, up the reps or add a resistance band. But pleaseeeeee make sure you stretch before and after working out. Go for runs too, running is the quickest way to lose weight or get back in shape.
*As you can see I don't have any upper body or arm workouts because my arms are naturally pretty buff so I don't touch them lol. Only when doing plank exercises.
